    Single-center interventional study with female handball players, examining the effects of chronic energy deficiency, the Mediterranean diet, and antioxidants on athletic performance. The BiodyXpert ZM II was used to assess body composition, including appendicular skeletal muscle mass, fat-free hydration, and fluid balance. Results indicate that all three nutritional interventions led to improvements in body composition, with no single intervention demonstrating significantly superior effects over the others.
